For us HommeGirls, vintage shopping is second nature—we’ve been on the hunt for as long as we can remember. 70s corduroys? Check. 80s Armani jacket? Have two. 90s baggy GAP jeans? Got them first. Needless to say, knowing what to look for is nothing new. But what IS new now is that we are repurposing them for you.

Our first focus: The blazer. We know you’ve been thinking about that boxy, oversized version; the one that you can only find in the men’s department. But maybe that’s a little intimidating right now (we’ll tackle this issue later). That’s why we’ve done the leg work for you. Each blazer was thoughtfully acquired for the style and condition, then taken apart and slightly tailored so the fit is even better but the integrity of each cut remains. Some took a more radical transformation when the lining was replaced with quilted padding for warmth and a sweatshirt hood for extra street cred. And because each piece is one-of-a-kind, when they’re gone, they’re really gone.
